LHS Review Staff Updates - Soccer and Football News

This year the Louisville High School soccer team is in region three of the three A division. Coach Catchot also said, “The boys have very high hopes of making playoffs in the soccer team history.” Coach Catchot also said, “The girls are looking very promising this year.” The soccer season officially starts October 19. The first game is on November 9. There are twenty games total and eight
of the games are division games. The away uniforms are black and white. The home uniforms are white and black. So come and support the Louisville High School soccer team!

Every day during 7th period is football practice. They practice for three long hours every day until Wednesday and Thursday because those are short days. Our head coach is M.C. Miller, and he is very hard on the team about working hard. They practice for a year round only if you come over summer. I think the season will be exciting because we have a tougher schedule and we are expecting to win state championship. The season has just kicked off, last Friday we played Jim Hill which is 6A, and we still came out with a win, and the final score was (47-0). Two weeks ago we played West Point which is a 5A school; we also won that on (35-14). This Friday we look forward to playing Wilkinson at home, and we expect to come out on top.
