LHS Review Staff Article - Meet Our New Teachers

I would like to introduce one of our new teachers, Miss Brandy Burnett. She is from Louisville, MS. She is not married, has no children and is 32 years old. She got her Bachelors and Masters Degree at Mississippi State University. The reason she became a teacher is the great teachers she had in high school. She has always wanted to be a Biology Teacher.

Our newest teacher is Mrs. Jamie Allison Walters.

LHS Review Staff Article - Technology Student Association

Technology Student Association

TSA? What is it for? TSA members are a select group of students who have multiple technology skills and have taken a technology class. Sponsors and teachers motivate you to learn and use your brain. The challenges of using technology in new ways to create short films, design planes, bridges, and create a real video game can be very stressing, but the competitions make it worth the stress. Coming from members, TSA is a warm, happy family that may be small, but the love is real. Mrs. Jernigan as advisor and Ms. Mays as the sponsor inspire each and every member to work hard and have fun while accomplishing their goals.

LHS Review Staff Article - JROTC

What is JROTC? What does it do for its students and how can it benefit students for the future? Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is an amazing program that teaches and nurtures its cadets into a working progress for greatness. Learning how to march, drill, ceremonies, physical training and team building. Manners and discipline are most important in any cadet’s training. Starting off the new school year, the new recruits alongside its veterans are all relearning the basics not only for the newbies but also for its senior members. The challenge, learning environment, and respect they receive keep them coming back for more. The program under the leadership of both Sergeant Rogers and Colonel Clark has its students marching on the right path.
